Actually, forget what I just typed. I didn't realize those were event handlers you were adding at a later point....wow I must look like an idiot.

Carry on, nothing to see here...

Hi,

Nice tutorial. I would like to download the source code so I can truly get it. I know you typed it all out but its easier to download and run. Also I suggest this because you left out some variables in your declarations (under Class, global scope). You didn't define sensor_DepthFrameReady and sensor_ColorFrameReady so I can't really use this. I really do want to learn and this seems like the best starting point. If you could please help me out on this, I'd be grateful. I also don't know what else you forgot to include, I'm still working on it.

Thanks,
SAI

[...] For each of your functional areas, think of everything from the most rube goldbergian implementations of your functionality that your imagination can muster to the most simplistic. Write it all down or whiteboard it out with others to get an optimal effect. Having good people to bounce ideas off of is key. I will argue that you should not make your brainstorming group too large. One or two people is actually plenty to get the intellectual banter working (see my previous post on Actualization and Collaboration). [...]

Some feedback:

- Why not use a trampoline? In other words the first time the method [do the expensive check to] detect the feature and then replace the method itself with the hardcoded result.
- You aren't checking for non-browser-specific implementations: you should add "" to your array there.

A number of reasons. Most of these are based on assumptions about performance of Modernizr. I do say assumptions and those may be proved wrong. I have a hunch based on implementation that performance for IE in Modernizr is slowed down. I'm doing perf testing with apps using / not using the library and will blog results. That said, I will say that using a large library to test a single feature is likely overkill. If I decide to do a lot of polyfills/shims/downlevel support, I may very well go to a modified, forked version of Modernizr.
